June 3, Fineko/abc.az. Rosselkhoznadzor has announced an increase in violations in the supply of plant products from Armenia to Russia.

ABC.AZ informs that in 2025, a sharp increase in the import of cut flowers was recorded, while 13 cases of infection with Western flower thrips, a quarantine facility for the EAEU countries, were detected.

Quarantine facilities have also been repeatedly found in other plant products, which, according to the agency, indicates weak export control by Armenia.

In this regard, Rosselkhoznadzor has sent a letter to its Armenian colleagues urging them to take comprehensive measures and strengthen phytosanitary control.
