May 29, Fineko/abc.az. The income of Azerbaijan space agency Azercosmos for Jan-Apr 2025 from the export of satellite telecommunications services totaled $5.6 million.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the May issue of the Expert Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, that the figure is 12.5% less versus Jan-Apr 2024.

For the past 4 months, nearly 100 companies from 40 countries used Azercosmos' services. The number of countries that used these services decreased compared with Jan-Apr 2024. The main export destinations were the UK, Luxembourg, Nigeria, Egypt and Turkey.

Over Jan-Apr 2025, the share of Azercosmos' export revenues in its total revenue declined from 78% to 65%.

In April, Azercosmos exported satellite telecom services for $1.6 million (5.9% less than a year earlier).
