May 27, Fineko/abc.az. Residents of the United Arab Emirates will soon be the first in the world to receive free access to ChatGPT Plus, the premium version of OpenAI's chatbot.

ABC.AZ reports, with reference to The Economic Times, that the measure will be taken as part of a large-scale partnership project between OpenAI and the country's authorities, so it will not be limited to free subscriptions alone.

Powerful data processing center Stargate UAE will start operating in the UAE - it is being built in Abu Dhabi. The program provides for the deployment of a computing cluster for artificial intelligence systems; the facility will require gigawatt power, which will make it one of the most powerful in the world. The first 200 MW phase is expected to be operational by next year. The partnership project indicates the serious intentions of both sides: the UAE authorities get the opportunity to become the global center of the AI industry, OpenAI gets a strategic base to increase its computing capabilities. In addition, residents of the UAE have free access to ChatGPT Plus features - under normal conditions, a subscription costs $20 per month.
