May 27, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, road tax receipts in Azerbaijan were fulfilled by 135.9 million manats (8.5 million manats or 6.7% more) against the forecast of 127.4 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports that these figures are reflected in the Bill on Execution of State Budget 2024.

The execution was 91.5 million manats, or 1.1 million manats (1.2%) more than the forecast of 90.4 million manats for the road tax applied domestically. Compared to 2023, there was a decrease of 3 million manats, or 3.2%, due to a decrease in the production of petroleum products in the country.

As for the road tax paid for imported fuel to the territory of Azerbaijan and owners of vehicles registered in foreign countries, 44.4 million manats were received, which is 7.4 million manats or 20% more than the forecast, and 1.6 million manats or 3.7% more than in 2023. The excess of projected revenues was due to the fact that the volume of imported gasoline based on the fuel and energy balance exceeded the projected figures. Thus, for AI-92 gasoline, imports to the territory of Azerbaijan made up 52.2% or 87,800 tons, and for gasoline of AI brand - 95 - 5.6% or 7,400 tons.
