May 26, Fineko/abc.az. This year, the U.S. began purchasing Chinese aircrafts at the record price of $119.3 million per plane.

ABC.AZ reports that the figure is 4.5-fold more than the previous prices. Analysts attribute the sharp increase to the introduction of new duties on Chinese goods.

In April, China delivered four aircrafts weighing from 15 to 45 tons to the U.S. for a total of $477.2 million, which averaged $119.3 million each. Since then, there have been no more such shipments.

For comparison, in 2024, the U.S. purchased nine similar aircrafts for $234.1 million, where the most expensive cost $47.3 million, and the average price was $26 million per plane.
