May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Openal has decided to abandon its plans to become a commercial organization.

ABC.AZ informs that this decision was announced by one of the company's representatives, Bret Taylor.

It is now assumed that OpenAI will move from the form of a commercial limited liability company to a public benefit corporation, which should take into account the interests of both shareholders and the OpenAI mission. At that, the non-profit organization will control the Public Benefit Corporation, and will also become a major shareholder in order to gain more resources to support benefits.

The mission of OpenAI remains the same - to make AI useful for all mankind.
