May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2025, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Security of Azerbaijan revealed 371 indicators of cyber attacks (IOC) on government institutions (18% more versus Jan-Apr 2024).

ABC.AZ reports that according to calculations based on the Service's data, 146 cyber threats were identified and blocked based on internal investigations, and 225 based on incident investigations received from government agencies.

In April, 81 cyber attacks were detected (29% more than a year earlier).

For Jan-Apr 2025, 180.505 million malicious traffic was blocked on the AzStateNet network, 5.213 million malicious electronic documents using the central antivirus system installed by end users, and 55,296 malicious e-documents using the Sandbox protection system.
