April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 3 months, there was a noticeable revival of the consumer market in the country.

For Jan-Mar 2025, the total cost of goods sold and services rendered to meet population’s needs amounted to 18.5 billion manats.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Statistics Committee that this figure is 5.1% higher versus Jan-Mar 2024.

The main part of sales - 78.9% accounts for retail trade, 18.1% for paid services, and 3% for catering facilities.

The non-governmental sector has also maintained its activity in the market. In particular, the total value of goods sold and services rendered in this area reached 17.7 billion manats (4.9% more against Jan-Mar 2024).

One of the notable points is that 44.9% of this turnover accounted for individual entrepreneurs.

Consumer spending per month also increased. Thus, on average, each citizen spent 602.3 manats per month (54 manats more versus Jan-Mar 2024).
