April 14, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, the number of cars from East Asia in Azerbaijan's automobile fleet increased rapidly. The number of South Korean automobile brands grew faster.

ABC.AZ reports that last year, the number of Hyundai vehicles increased by 16,758 cars or 13.3% year-on-year, up to 142,814 cars. Hyundai also has the highest annual growth in terms of quantity. The number of KIA runners-up increased by 13,495 vehicles, or 16%, to 97,753 cars year-on-year. The third largest increase in the country's fleet belongs to the Japanese brand Toyota. The number of Japanese car brands grew by 10,546 cars (10.1%) last year up to 115,151 cars.

The number of Chinese cars that have become more popular in the country over the past 4 years also continues to grow. The rate of Chinese Changan vehicles increased from 4,086 cars, or 84.0%, from 4,864 cars up to 8,950 cars.
