April 8, Fineko/abc.az reports. Azerbaijan imported 25 electric vehicles powered only by electric motor for $3.189 million from Germany in January 2025.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the number of electric vehicles from Germany grew by 8 cars, or 47.1%, and by $1.62 million in value, or 2-fold, compared with January 2024.

In January 2024, the country imported 17 electric vehicles for $1.56 million from Germany.

The average import price of electric vehicles imported from Germany during this period reached 216,828 manats, which is 59,969 manats (38.2%) more than a year earlier.

Last January, the average import price of imported electric vehicles was 156,859 manats.
