April 8, Fineko/abc.az. Taube Electronics LLC has been granted the status of a resident of the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park, which is under the jurisdiction of the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy).
ABC.AZ informs, quoting Agency’s press secretary Elchin Kazimli, that the company will implement a project for production of smart TVs for the first time in Azerbaijan. About 20 permanent jobs will be created within the framework of the 3.5 million manat project.
"The annual production capacity of the enterprise, which will use China's advanced technologies, will be 19,500 televisions. The company plans to produce smart TVs of 4 different sizes (32, 43, 50, 55 inches)," the report says.
Currently, 17 business entities are registered as residents in the industrial park with an area of 200 hectares, and 3 entrepreneurs are registered as non-residents. To date, more than 30 million manats have been invested in the work carried out in the park, and close to 100 permanent jobs created.
