April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Manufacture of "green fertilizers" and "green methanol" is planned in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting Rena Gumbatova, deputy director of the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources (under the Ministry of Energy) as saying this at the event on the theme "Innovative Ways to a Greener Future: Renewable Energy Sources & Emission Reduction" in Baku.

«Large-scale green energy projects require long-term agreements so that investors associated with the Green Corridor can act. In addition, issues related to financing must be resolved," she stressed.
According to Gumbatova, "green products" can also be produced in Azerbaijan: "This is not only a matter of energy security, but also industrial safety. They are interconnected. Azerbaijan will produce "green fertilizers" and "green methanol". After domestic demand is compensated, these products will be exported".
