April 3, Fineko/abc.az. Google has decided to launch a special version of Gemini artificial intelligence (AI) services for children, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Android Authority.

Media experts have studied the code of Google app for Android (version 12/16/39) and found several lines hinting at the existence of a special version of AI for children. Among other things, the code mentions "child users".

The journalists of the publication suggested that Gemini will allow children to run services with neural networks on their smartphones. Among other things, they would be able to invent stories with AI, solve school problems, and help with development and learning.

The article says that Gemini chatbot is already capable of performing various tasks for young users, but the "children's" version of the service will be more heavily censored. Experts also suggested that such a chatbot would be configured in such a way that no user content could be online.

"It is not yet clear how Google will implement Gemini for children. We assume that this mode will be automatically enabled if the associated Google account belongs to a child," the authors concluded.
