Azercosmos exported telecom services to 37 countries for Jan-Feb

April 2, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2025, Azerbaijan space agency Azercosmos (under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport) exported satellite telecommunications services for $2.7 million (about 10% less versus Jan-Feb 2024).

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the March issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications, that nearly 90 companies from 37 countries imported satellite telecom services in 2 months (8 fewer countries compared to a year earlier). The main export destinations were the UK, Luxembourg, Nigeria, Egypt, Turkey and Pakistan.

The share of Azercosmos' export revenues in total revenues decreased from 77% to 66%.

In February alone, Azercosmos exported satellite telecom services for $1.2 million (25% less year-on-year).
