April 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Iran Masoud Pezeshkian discussed further cooperation in accordance with the previously reached agreements by telephone.

ABC.AZ reports that the press service of the Uzbek leader informed about this.

"The importance of the productive holding of the meetings of the Intergovernmental Commission, the business forum and the industrial exhibition planned in the city of Tehran was emphasized," the press service reports.

The presidents noted the need to accelerate cooperation in various fields, for example, in the chemical and petrochemical industries. They also discussed closer cooperation in the textile and food industries, agriculture, etc. In addition, the presidents discussed the international and regional agenda, the press service reports.
