50% of population's spending accounted for foods in 2 months

April 2, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2025, 50% of consumer spending in Azerbaijan accounted for foods, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Of the money spent by customers on goods purchased in the retail network, 4.8% accounted for beverages and tobacco products, 15.1% for textiles, clothing and footwear, 5.7% for gasoline and diesel fuel.
