April 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Civil Aviation Administration of China will issue certificates for operation of unmanned aerial vehicles.

ABC.AZ informs that this is the first time in China when passengers are transported by flying taxis.

These drones, which have received a flight activity certificate (eVTOL is an electric–powered aircraft that performs vertical takeoff and landing), are manufactured by local company EHang.

Flying cars EH216-S are the first eVTOL in the world to be certified in 4 categories (standardization, airworthiness, production and flight activity).

EH216-S is equipped with 16 electric motors and has capacity of two passengers. It has the ability to take off and land vertically. Its maximum payload is 220 kg, speed is 100 km per hour, and flight time is 21 minutes. During this time, the drone is able to cover distance of up to 35 km.
