April 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for cars imported from America in Azerbaijan are expected to rise.

ABC.AZ informs that two days ago, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the introduction of a 25% duty on cars imported into the country.

The decision will take effect on April 2 and will apply to finished cars and trucks imported into the U.S., including American brands whose parts are assembled abroad.

Huseyn Mammadli, a specialist in road transportation, said that this decision will affect the price of cars imported into our country from America through an auction.

According to Mammadli, despite the fact that there are several days left before the decision comes into force, prices for new cars sold at auction are already rising. After the decision takes effect, the price increase can be expressed in a certain percentage.
