March 19, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey has restricted access to several social media platforms after detention of the opposition mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem Imamoglu. ABC.AZ reports, refering to international Internet monitoring service NetBlocks in X.

YouTube video hosting, X, Tik Tok social networks, as well as Instagram faced restrictions on work in the country.  The Istanbul Prosecutor General's Office has filed charges of corruption, bribery and cooperation with terrorists against Imamoglu and more than 100 other persons.
