March 4, Fineko/abc.az. EU High Representative for Foreign Policy & Security Affairs, Kaya Kallas, submitted to the European Council a proposal for provision of a second aid package to Armenia from the European Peace Fund, ABC.AZ informs, quoting EU's press secretary for International Relations & Security Policy, Pedro Fonseca Moniz.

He added that this proposal is based on previous assistance measures.

"The Council will start considering the proposal in the coming weeks," Moniz said.

Private sources say that in the near future the EU is preparing to allocate a new tranche from the European Peace Fund to Armenia to increase its defense capability.
