March 3, Fineko/abc.az. Shahin Babayev has been appointed the executive director of the Azerbaijan Transport & Communications Holding (AZCON).

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order appointing Shahin Babayev.

Babayev worked at the Sumgayit Technology Park in 2011, and served as head of the finance department at Azercosmos in 2012-2021.

In 2023, he was appointed advisor to the Minister of Digital Development & Transport of Azerbaijan, and in 2024, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Digital Development & Transport.
