The number of air travelers in the world is expected to reach 17.7 billion by 2043 and 22.3 billion by 2053, which is almost 2.4-fold higher than the projected figure for 2024.
The positive dynamics will be influenced by the growing demand for travel from the middle class in emerging markets, the popularity of international travel and constant investment in airport infrastructure, but this growth is slowed down by factors such as geopolitical tensions, economic instability, supply chain disruptions.
