February 27, Fineko/abc.az. Ookla®, the world leader in Internet testing and analysis, has selected Aztelekom as the fastest Internet provider in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Aztelekom has been awarded the Speedtest Award for Fastest Fixed Network by Ookla, a global broadband and mobile network analytics company.

This award is presented to an Internet provider of a fixed network for the first time in the country's history.

The report published on the official Ookla® page notes that this achievement of Aztelekom was determined by the results of 4,389,339 speed tests conducted by 306,885 subscribers across the country using various applications and equipment in the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2024.

According to the test results, the maximum download speed (Top Download Speed) in the country was 181.30 Mbit/s, while for Aztelekom subscribers this figure was 408.18 Mbit/s.
