February 26, Fineko/abc.az. U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that he will sell a gold card for $5 million, which will allow foreign investors who open jobs in the country to obtain a residence permit and citizenship.

ABC.AZ reports that Trump, who signed the relevant decree, later made a statement to the press.

"We will set the price for this card at about $5 million, and this will give you the privileges of a green card, as well as the opportunity for citizenship," he said.

Saying that wealthy people would buy this card and come to the U.S., Trump said that these people would spend a lot of money, pay a lot of taxes and get a lot of work.

Trump said they believe it will be extremely successful, and they will present the program within the next two weeks.
