February 4, Fineko/abc.az. The heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Energy and the customs services of Russia, Iran and Azerbaijan will meet in the near future to discuss the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway line of international transport corridor North-South, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali.

"We plan to hold a trilateral meeting in the near future with the participation of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Ministers of Transport, Ministers of Energy and heads of customs services of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan," he said.

The diplomat noted that the agreement on this project is to be signed until March 2025.
