January 28, Fineko/abc.az. India and China have agreed to resume direct air service after almost five years, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India.
This can be considered a warming in relations between the neighbors after the military clash in 2020 on the border in the Himalayas and Covid-19 pandemic. Both sides will discuss the details of the flights at a meeting to be held "in the near future".
Five years ago, India began to crack down on Chinese investors, banned hundreds of popular apps, including TikTok, and canceled passenger routes, although direct cargo flights between the countries continued to operate.
