January 27, Fineko/abc.az. Japanese automobile corporation Nissan plans to cut production lines at its factories around the world, seeking to stop the deterioration of its financial performance, ABC.AZ reports, referring to Bloomberg sources.

The cost-cutting program should lead to the closure of part of the production lines at the corporation's factories in Japan and other countries, and a reduction in employee work shifts is also expected, sources say. At that, company's management does not intend to completely close certain plants, implementation of a plan to optimize existing production should help Nissan not to resort to such extreme measures.
