January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 91,838 cars for $1.844 bn in 2024.

Compared with 2023, the number of cars imported into the country declined by 4.3%, or 4,133 cars, and their cost increased by 9.7%, or $163.5 million, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee. Last year, our country imported 95,971 vehicles for $1.68 bn.

The number of imported vehicles powered only by electric motors reached 3,027 cars, and the number of vehicles with hybrid engines was 10,382.
