ABC.AZ reports that such norms are contained in the new draft law on labeling video games.
The bill on mandatory labeling of video games was submitted to the State Duma on December 12. According to the document, developers and distributors of games will be required to put on them not only age markings, but also information indicating the presence of cruelty, violent scenes, obscene language, alcohol, drugs and other similar things in the plot.
IT Committee’s deputy head Anton Gorelkin previously noted that this would allow a gamer or his parents to quickly understand what awaits them inside.
Identification can take place through portal Gosuslugi, a single biometric system, a phone number, or another system controlled by a Russian legal entity.
