January 10, Fineko/abc.az. Silicon Valley-based Hardware startup unveiled an Omi wearable device with a "brain interface" at CES 2025.
ABC.AZ reports that the gadget can be worn as a necklace or attached to the head with a medical patch.
It is designed to increase productivity by setting reminders, summarizing conversations, translating speech, and supporting voice commands.
Although the company claims that Omi will be able to read thought processes, there are no details about how this technology works yet.
The first audio-enabled version, priced at $89, will be released in the 2nd quarter of 2025, and a mind-reading device will appear later.
