A two-seat air taxi powered by hydrogen and batteries presented at CES 2025

January 9, Fineko/abc.az. South Korea's Sambo Motors Group has presented HAM III-2, a hybrid two-seat aircraft for urban travel. The device with wingspan of 9 m and weight of 850 kg is equipped with dual power supply system: batteries for takeoff and hydrogen fuel cells for horizontal flight.

ABC.AZ reports that it reaches cruising speed of 180 km/h, a range of 100 km and can stay in the air for up to 40 minutes. The first tests will begin in the U.S. in 2025.
