State standards in field of artificial intelligence adopted

December 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (Azstand), subordinate to the State Service for Antimonopoly & Consumer Market Control, has adopted state standards AZS ISO/IEC TR 24028:2024 "Information Technologies - artificial Intelligence - review of justification of trust by artificial intelligence" and AZS ISO/IEC TR 24372:2024 "Information Technologies - Artificial Intelligence – review of computing approaches for AI systems".

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Service, that these state standards define the topics of justifying trust in AI systems, including the main computational characteristics of these systems, important algorithms and approaches used in them.

The purpose of introducing new government standards is to create common rules and guidelines for the proper functioning of AI systems on various platforms and in various fields, as well as to ensure their interaction.
