December 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Turkish government has announced an ambitious infrastructure project to connect Istanbul's two main airports, Istanbul Hub and Sabiha Gokcen Airport Terminal, with a high-speed rail system.
ABC.AZ informs that the railway line will cover about 120 km, starting from the city of Gebze and passing through Sabiha Gokcen Airport, Sultan Selim Yavuz Bridge, Istanbul Airport and ending in Chatalja district.
"Passengers will be able to comfortably travel between them in just 30 minutes," said Abdulkadir Uraglu, Turkish Transport & Infrastructure Minister.
The financing of the project is currently being discussed with the World Bank.
