December 28, Fineko/abc.az. With the purpose to ensure high-quality and uninterrupted transport services for the population in connection with the World Azerbaijanis’ Solidarity Day and New Year's celebrations, from December 30 to January 6, bus terminals and bus stations of the country will operate in enhanced mode.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency that all bus terminals and bus stations are tasked to ensure uninterrupted and safe movement of passenger carriages on intercity and interregional routes, as well as strict compliance with the approved schedule.

During the holidays, special control will be carried out over the interval of buses leaving the routes, as well as drivers' compliance with safety rules when transporting passengers.

In order to avoid passenger crowding on the line, the necessary number of additional buses will be released onto the line.

Citizens will be able to buy tickets at the ticket offices of bus stations, as well as online on portal biletim.az. Currently, at biletim.az passengers can buy tickets to 47 cities and 74 destinations.
