December 26, Fineko/abc.az. The U.S. expresses its condolences to the families of the victims of the plane crash near Aktau and stands ready to provide the necessary assistance to the authorities of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that this statement was made by U.S. Department of State spokesperson Matthew Miller.

"We are deeply saddened by the news about the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane in Kazakhstan. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and we pray for them, and we wish the injured a speedy recovery. We are ready to provide assistance to the authorities of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan," Miller wrote on Twitter.
