December 26, Fineko/abc.az. Aircraft manufacturing companyEmbraer has stated that it is ready to cooperate with the authorities and competent authorities in the case of the crash of Embraer-190 aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines near Aktau, Kazakhstan.
ABC.AZ reports that the company said in a statement: "We are deeply saddened by the occurrence with an Embraer 190 today near Aktau, Kazakhstan. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to the families, friends, colleagues, and loved ones affected by this incident. We are closely monitoring the situation and we remain fully committed to supporting the relevant authorities.”
On December 25, an Embraer aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines, en route from Baku to Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau. There were 67 people on board the plane, including 42 citizens of Azerbaijan, 16 from Russia, 6 from Kazakhstan and 3 from Kyrgyzstan. According to the latest data, 38 people were killed. According to the relevant decree of President Ilham Aliyev, on December 26, 2024, mourning was declared in Azerbaijan in memory of those killed in the plane crash.
