December 23, Fineko/abc.az. The official opening of the Sumgait Innovation Center has taken place.

ABC.AZ reports that at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Digital Development & Transport Samir Mammadov said that the center plans to grant official Apple status.

"We should not consider the Sumgayit Innovation Center as just an office space. This center serves as a space where ideas are born that add value to the formation and strengthening of innovative culture in the country. The center is aimed at developing an ecosystem of startups with an extensive infrastructure network and fostering a new generation

of innovative thinking in general," he stressed.

The deputy minister, in the near future, the Sumgait Innovation Center plans to certify Apple trainers, and then grant

official Apple status to the center:

"This is an important issue, because young people are especially interested in these certificates, which is very important to ensure their future employment."
