December 20, Fineko/abc.az. Lump-sum allowance of 6,000 manats will be paid in Azerbaijan for children left without parental care.

ABC.AZ informs that this is reflected in the amendment to the Law on the Social Protection of Children who have Lost their Parents & are Left without Parental Care, signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

The lump-sum benefit is currently set at 6,000 manats, taking into account the average monthly nominal salary in the country.

In order to introduce a more effective principle of social security and bring it into line with other legislative acts, the amount of monetary compensation provided for clothing, shoes, soft equipment and equipment or their replacement is also included in the specified allowance, a lump-sum allowance is set at 6,000 manats (the average monthly nominal salary in the country, announced by the State Statistics Committee last time, was 1,003.5 manats), taking into account the current version of the law and the nominal average monthly salary currently in the country.

The president-signed decree on the regulation of the law states that the changes will be applied from September 15.
