December 19, Fineko/abc.az. In the near future, the number of not only space technology, but also space tourists, along with astronauts, will increase.

ABC.AZ reports that space agency Azercosmos’ chairman of board Samaddin Asadov said about this at the opening of the training on the topic "Fundamentals of space medicine".

"I’m sure that in the next decade the number of people going into space will increase few-fold. In this regard, a broader analysis and study of space medicine is important. Since 2008, Azerbaijan has started analyzing the space sector. Today, our country is working extensively in three areas. Azerbaijan is already known internationally as a country playing an active role in the space sector," Asadov said.
