A large Turkish hotel chain has bought airline Southwind

December 19, Fineko/abc.az. Southwind Airlines has been acquired by the owner of Kilit Group (Nirvana and Crystal hotels) Suleiman Kilit. 

ABC.AZ reports that experts of the Turkish tourism industry call the investment "very profitable" for the hotelier. 

The Turkish tourism industry expects significant changes in the structure and activities of Kilit Group in the near future and calls the purchase of the airline "a strategic step in an effort to enter the aviation sector". 

Southwind currently operates charters from Russia and Kazakhstan to Turkey. According to tour operators, nothing will change in the near future, Coral Travel and PEGAS Touristik take blocks of seats on Southwind Airlines flights.
