December 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov 2024, Azerbaijan imported 82,926 cars for $1.673 billion.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that car imports increased by 10% in value terms, although 7% less in quantitative terms against Jan-Nov 2023.

Imports of automobiles and other motor vehicles decreased by 9% to 74,366 cars.

On the other hand, 2,871 of those cars (worth $115 million) are powered solely by an electric motor.
In addition, imports of motor vehicles for transportation of goods amounted to 7,650 vehicles (worth $127 million), and imports of motor vehicles for special purposes - 532 vehicles (worth $62 million).
