November 28, Fineko/abc.az. The Research Institute of Mechanics of the Moscow State University n.a. Lomonosov and the Iranian University of Science & Technology (IUST) will jointly develop modern control algorithms for robotic systems.
ABC.AZ informs that cooperation of scientists will become part of the agreement concluded by universities, Anton Rogachev, a leading engineer at the Laboratory of General Mechanics of the Moscow State University Research Institute, said on the sidelines of the IV Congress of Young Scientists.
The scientist clarified that Iranian researchers, in particular, intend to test new control algorithms for a balancing two-wheeled robot and a walking robot "Mors", developed by specialists from Moscow State University. In the future, these platforms may become the basis for creation of robot supervisors, waiters or robots that monitor mines, production facilities, construction sites and power plants.
