November 27, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese space company Landspace has successfully launched a new modification of its medium-sized rocket Zhuque-2 - just a month after completing its firing tests.

ABC.AZ informs that Zhuque-2 is a two-stage rocket with length of almost 50 m and launch weight of over 220 tons, capable of launching up to 1,500 kg of payload into a sun-synchronous orbit. However, its main trump card is not the payload, but the contents of the fuel tanks - natural gas or methane - significantly facilitates the repeated use of the rocket.

And Landspace became the first company to successfully launch a methane rocket.
