 November 22, Fineko/abc.az. WhatsApp messenger has introduced an update that significantly expands the communication capabilities of users. Now the application can convert voice messages into text.

ABC.AZ reports that all voice message processing takes place directly on the user's device, which guarantees security and confidentiality. The developers assure that they will continue to improve the new feature.

The company emphasizes the special importance of voice messages for maintaining personal communication between loved ones. The opportunity to hear a native voice becomes especially valuable when there is a large distance between the interlocutors. However, there are situations when listening is difficult: whether it's traveling on public transport, being in a noisy place, or having to familiarize with a long audio message.

To use the new feature, you must:

1. Go to "Settings"

2. Select the "Chats" section

3. Go to "Decrypt voice messages"

To convert a specific message, it is enough to hold it and select "Transcribe" option.
