Full transition to public electric transport is planned in Baku by 2030

November 20, Fineko/abc.az. By 2030, it is planned to replace all public transport in the capital with analogues powered by electricity, ABC.AZ informs, quoting Minister of Digital Development & Transport of Azerbaijan Rashad Nabiyev.

The minister added that Azerbaijan has recently committed itself to creating a sustainable ecosystem: "We plan to build 100 km of micromobile lanes. 160 electric buses have been delivered to the country. Their number will be increased."
