Car production in Azerbaijan grew by 86% - Report

November 19, Fineko/abc.az. Output for 643.7 million manats was produced for Jan-Oct 2024 in the field of production of machinery and equipment, other vehicles, cars, trailers and semi-trailers.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with Jan-Oct 2023, manufacture of cars, trailers and semi-trailers increased by 58.4%, machinery and equipment decreased by 43.2%, and other vehicles - by 52.8%. From January to October 2024, the country produced 4,433 automobiles (2,057 cars or 86.6% more versus Jan-Oct 2023). Of the motor vehicles produced, 213 were stocks of finished goods.

During this period, tractor production decreased by 14.7% against Jan-Oct 2023 to 495.11 tractors remained in warehouses.

Trucks declined by 8.7% to 399 trucks. The stock of finished products reached 37 trucks.
