 November 18, Fineko/abc.az. Türkiye did not give permission for Israeli President Isaak Herzog's plane to fly through its airspace to Baku to participate in the UN climate conference.

ABC.AZ reports that this information was confirmed to Sabah newspaper by sources in the Turkish authorities.

"The main reason for the Israeli president's non-participation in the UN climate conference is Türkiye's refusal to issue a permit to fly through its airspace," the paper writes.

The Israeli president's office said on Saturday that Herzog’s visit to Azerbaijan had been canceled "for security reasons".
