Azerbaijan increased imports of cars with hybrid engine

October 16, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 3 quarters of 2024, Azerbaijan imported 15,710 cars with hybrid engines, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the figure is by 5,106 vehicles or 48% more against the same term of 2023 - 12,722 automobiles with hybrid engines.

Azerbaijan imported 2,245 electric vehicles for Jan-Sept 2024 (6% more than a year ago).

In total, the cost of imported hybrids and electric vehicles reached $360.19 million.
