October 16, Fineko/abc.az. The Russian government has almost halved the quota for temporary residence of migrants in 2025, approving it in the amount of 5,500 permits.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the relevant order, this year the quota was 10,600 permits.

Moscow and the Moscow region received the largest number of permits for the next year.

The quota has been decreasing over the past 5 years: in 2021, the government issued more than 39,000 permits, in 2022 - almost 19,000, in 2023 - 13,500.
