October 9, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, there were about 2 billion trips in Baku by bus, metro, taxi and on foot.

ABC.AZ reports that chairman of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) Anar Rzayev said this at an event dedicated to the transformation of passenger mobility in Azerbaijan.

He explained that 52% of them were for taxis and personal transport, and 28% for public transport.

"We plan to reduce these figures to 16% for taxis and personal transport, and raise them to 41% for public transport. The agency aims to reduce personal transport in the center of Baku," he stressed.
